![]() ![]() Some of the armies won't even have generals when they have generals to spare.ĮDIT: Also, the case where the opposite occurs: it splits its forces into many armies of a few divisions, then puts them all under a single field marshal, overloading that FM's cap, when there's 5 others already leading army groups with a single army in it, and they're all on the same front.Ī new one since the new DLC is that many nations will create tank templates and never produce tanks for them, which is weird.Ĭan anyone explain this behaviour? How can we fix it? Are there any good mods that reduce this odd behaviour?Īnd if we can't do so, how can we get paradox to see this issue? And they're all fighting on the same front. ![]() Only some of them under field marshals even when it has space for armies under its existing field marshals. Why the AI will split its forces into thirty armies, a couple at full strength and the rest with 1-2 divisions. This is more understandable, but there is no priority in this, so you get strong divisions in random tiles, and the weakest divisions defending ports. Things as simple as why is the AI using multiple different infantry templates on a single front, ranging from 6 infantry battalion divisions, to semi-decent divisions with art and support companies.įollowing on from that there is the same split in garrisoning divisions, containing both strong and weak divisions in the same armies. It's nearly 6 years into HoI4, but we still need to talk about armies, divisions, templates, and the AI's use of them. ![]()
